Hi Ruth! Nice to hear that the fish fry DID make a profit. I've been thinking of the idea of a "no bake" sale. Everybody just contributes a certain amount of money in the name of the item they would have spent money to bake. Sounds far easier to me. I've never heard of "Red Candy" before. I'll have to look it up. Hoping you've seen the last of the darned macaroni salad!

Good morning Ruth and Debbie,
It's cool and pleasant out here on the sunporch right now, but they're calling for a steamy afternoon with temps in the 90s.
I don't have much on the agenda for today, just catching up on laundry and a visit with Mom & Dad. I think the kids are all planning to converge on us for a BBQ and a swim this afternoon. Unfortunately, I must stay out of the pool because of my hand, unless I want to wrap it in a plastic bag and duct tape.

Good morning from NY. No coffee yet so I'm not entirely awake. The party doesn't start until 2 so we will have breakfast at the local diner, grab some groceries and do a little birding then head over to Mom's. I'll help get ready and DW will stalk birds. She got the warbler she was hoping for right after we arrived last night so she's pretty happy already
Cottage - Wow, you really got that poor hand Hope it heals quickly.

Linda, enjoy your family BBQ. Your hand will probably mend faster without the baggie/duct tape combo.lol I hope that's soon!
Cyndi, have an enjoyable family day, too. Glad you'll get to fit some birding into your day.
Well the sun is finally up here...time to put on my painting clothes. I did get lots done today. I worked on "arranging my environment" (Beck Diet Solution-Day 7). I just let go of some things that keep sitting around because I can't decide what to do with them. I "decided" to get rid of those things and my environment feels much better already. I find that the less clutter around me the better my food plan works.
Happy Sunday everyone!

Is it me or was there a brand new On Plan thread that just disappeared? I haven't had any coffee yet but I didn't think it would be this bad!

I confess! I goofed. My BGL was way too low this morning. I just went back and re-read my post this morning and amazed that it made sense. I was looking for the On Plan Thread to post for today's plan.
Just shoot me, OK?

Morning,
I am slowly recovering from humiliation (thanks to you all!) and am resisting the urge to not eat anything (which is odd for me because my initial reaction is to usually binge). Today, nephew leaves. So at 3p, I will be going swimming them food shopping.
Have a good Sunday all!

Well, it's good to know that Ruth was the culprit who deleted my thread, and it wasn't ME doing something wrong. I was really getting puzzled and confused as to why it disappeared! I finally gave up and figured someone else would get the new weekly On Plan thread going. Thanks, Cyndi.

Dear All -
It is an amazing weekend here at the shore - I am such a happy person! I ran 5 miles yesterday evening - and it actually was almost fun! The beach and I were inseparable today ALL DAY, and my children are having a wonderful time. This weekend we had good friends here to visit with their twin one-year olds. It was the twins' first time on the beach - and SO much fun!
I am looking forward to hamburgers on the grill any minute now, and sugar-free ice cream for my treat.
Blessing to all, and be well -

hello all! Late to post but figured id just stop in for a minute. Glad to hear that everyone seems to be in good spirits and I hope it lasts through the week!
I started playing roller derby again after a 10 month hiatus. Well, not exactly playing yet as I'm out of shape and have to make it through my probationary period and skills assessments. I'm very happy to be back on my skates again and swear that I will not think that this exercise is a free ticket to eating garbage. This time around I will see results! Had my first practice today and boy was it a doozy! I am going to sleep very well tonight!
See you all tomorrow!
