new and starting back on sb
 

hello im starting back on sb.i was on it for a few weeks and did really well,but have not been doing what i should.

i have several medical problems,including hypothroid,asthma,high blood pressure.

i also try not to eat any artificial sweetners,was glad to find a post about sugars and arttificial sweetners.

because of the thyroid issue i have to be careful on some veggies such as cabbage family.

so juggling south beach and thyroid isuue can be confusing,but i see on 3fatchicks theres a group on thyroid.

i have about 100 pounds to lose and need to get going. :)

I have Hashimoto's and 100 lbs to lose and have had successful weight loss an a jolt of energy with SB so far. What at first seemed like an uphill battle has become second nature and I'm so glad I can still lose weight with a slow thyroid to fight. I'm on meds, but not the perfect dose yet.
And yes, it will seem confusing at first, but I promise you will get used to it and it will totally gel in a few weeks. I've heard over and over again on 3FC that blood pressure issues seem to disappear after following a healthy diet.
