I do hope you'll all come back every day to check in, check out all of the interesting recipes, and let us know how you're feeling. Phase 1 can be rough. Something that really helped me get through it, especially if I was feeling helpless or impatient, was thinking "What can I do right now
to be healthier?" Here's what I tended to come up with:
- Have a large glass of water
- Make a pot of tea (green/herbal)
- "Zip up those abs" as Denise Austin would say
- Breathing exercise
- Visualization exercise
Especially when sitting at work, these helped to instantly empower me. Good luck as you come back aboard!
