I discovered hemp milk (actually after reading about it here) and all I can say is wow
. It is so creamy and delicious! My son drinks almond milk each morning, but once we get through this container I'm switching him to chocolate hemp. He's a beanpole and could use the calories and fats. It's the best to make my chia pudding with too.
I also tried something else that had what I think was seitan in it. It was sort of little pieces of a tofu like substance that was drier and a bit chewy. As with tofu, it did not really posses a taste of its own, but rather absorbed the sauce flavor. All you veggies and anyone else who cooks with seitan - ideas for prep or dishes? I'm assuming it's SBD friendly like tofu is.
