My two Phase 1 weeks led to a 5 pound loss - it often depends on what weight you are losing - water/fat.
For me, I was heavier than I needed to be from eating too MUCH food this time around, but not necessarily off plan foods, so the loss was great but not in the 8-12 pound range that some people see. Since then it has been a pretty steady 1.5 - 2 pounds a week on Phase 2 (except for the two weeks I took "off" from dieting and maintained).
Also, it is possible, and even common, to regain a bit when you first move to Phase 1.5 or Phase 2 - this is normal and is generally just your body readjusting water weight.
