Newbie to South Beach.
Not new to 3FC. I am planning on jumping on the SB wagon May 2nd. So I am reading and researching all I can in between then an now. Can't wait to get to know all my fellow SBers.

Welcome to the beach! I've been on it for 2 months now and I'm loving it. I've tried and failed more diets than I care to admit, so SB has been a very pleasant surprise for me. Lost 29 pounds so far, and it's been relatively painless. Good luck with your journey.

to the Beach, Anna. I love it when people prepare and study ahead before jumping right into the water!

I have moment where I want to jump in. Then I am reminded I will be in the middle of P1 during our easter dinner at the IL's. What a tuff thing to do. I want to be more broke in before we go for a family holiday dinner or anything of that form. I am very excited to start SBD. I really feel like I can do this!!

Hi Anna, to our beach. Nice to meet you. It sounds like you are doing this the right way by reading and preparing yourself. Good luck as you walk along the beach.

Welcome! I started in February and am down about 16 pounds with relative ease. The cravings on this diet are minimal compared with others I've tried, and I actually feel healthy eating this food. Exercising feels great because I have the energy to do so. You will find lots of support and encouragement here, so best of luck!

Hi Anna!
I too, read everything I possibly could beofre I started. I was scared to start another "diet". But I finally took the plunge and now I am irritated that I waited so long. This has been the most painless and relatively easy Way of Life I have ever adopted. The food is good and the weight is just melting off. This is my second week of Phase 1 and so far so good!! I still have lots of questions but I have found that this board and a few others have been so helpful!! Thanks guys!
Best of Luck to you!!

Hi Anna! I'm planning on starting SB next week as well. Glad there will be another SB newbie.
I have a fridge full of food that isn't phase 1 friendly so will using it all up while reading the book this week.

Hi all,
My Dr. recommeded the South Beach Diet to me. I thought I would just poke around while doing my research on how it works. I am very nervous about this I guess I just don't think I can stick with it.
