Hi from a newbie (sort of)
Hi everyone. Wow the last time I was on this site was in 2006. Not sure why I stopped, but I have not managed to truly find the best way of eating for me.
Until now, I believe.
I am beginning my 2nd week of Phase 1 of South Beach. So far it is going well. The cravings and discomfort are gone. Overall, I really like the foods and even though I have a sweet tooth, having something like a sugar free fudgsicle curbs it.
I am doing South Beach for a couple of reasons. 1. I tried it briefly before and did have success on it. 2. I really want to focus on consuming a predominantly healthy diet that has plenty of fruits, vegetables, lean meats, and whole grains with small indulgences now and then.
I am curious to see if how I do weight wise with Phase 1. (going to wait for the entire 2 weeks before weighing myself)
I am looking forward to getting to know everyone here doing South Beach.
