I sure hope so!!! Rumor has it that one of the more senior Sergeants wants to go to night shift...so if that's TRUE, I may be put on days. I'm keeping my fingers crossed...I am SO not a dayshift person AT ALL.

She's so sweet...once I had gotten to call saying "hey, be in Captain's office at 1630" we pretty much knew that I had it but just didn't have the "official" word yet. She was talking about not putting it on Facebook b/c she wanted me to make the announcement and I told her she could and she was running through what she was going to say and actually choked up. It was so sweet. Awww, I <3 my mommy.

Yes ma'am, we are underneath the Sheriff's Department. Highest rank at 911 is Captain...when he retires my Lieutenant will surely move up to Captain, leaving her position open. It's still a few years away, I think. One day, maybe...one day.
