Oh I know, I know. Sigh. It's just frustrating. I had lost 6.8 lbs this month! Then Chris makes me pasta with a creamy cheese sauce (he even used FAT FREE half & half) and whammo! Just very bad timing. I'll get it back. Just wanted to start off March right.

Oy! I should not have cursed February! The power went off just as I finished posting and just came back on a few minutes ago! Luckily I had made the coffee. It's pouring rain so I have a couple of buckets of water on hand in case it goes out again. I need to venture out for some drinking water though.

So much for a productive Monday morning!

Just dipping in for a quick hello.

Went off the rails this weekend to celebrate my birthday! But now am back on track. Except we're not counting what the scale says until it says it for two more days. Lying scale.

In other news, we're fostering a pregnant Puggle dog. Very sweet, very cute! She's keeping me on my toes, that's for sure.

Hello all,

I've got floor duty this week so probably will only be able to be very brief here.

Justin Bieber movie this weekend was not bad at all. Found out DD1 made Prom court now we have to go shop for a dress. (I hate shopping for fancy dresses it is a big ordeal with DD1 she gets frustrated easily and I refuse to spend 400 dollars on a dang dress like so many other of the girls do)

We had tornado sirens going off at midnight, what a rude awakening and also had to wake up the kiddos to drag them off to the basement. Atleast we didn't have any damage. Today is just windy and cold.

Stay safe and warm those of you dealing with icy situations today. Have a great day.

How that happens I will NEVER understand, because I did not eat anywhere NEAR 14,000 calories on Saturday (more like 2,000.) I will say that I haven't had a "celebration" worth writing home to mom about since Friday morning, which may be contributing to it, and I'm sure I'm hanging onto some sodium and water too. Back on track but very disappointed, as today is the last day of the month and tomorrow is weigh-in. FOUR WHOLE POUNDS. Sigh. Hoping for a whoosh to at least get me 2 more lbs so I hit my 5 lb goal for the month. No one's fault but my own. I mean, it was tasty, but had I known I'd gain 4 lbs from eating an extra 800 calories on Saturday, I wouldn't have done it!!!!

Happy Monday to everyone. I hope everyone has a successful OP day today!

Lisa
Lisa - I had one day of eating crap and gained 3 pounds! And it has not come off. No way I ate that much. And it will take me ages to lose it again. When will I learn?

Heidi - I have been thinking about trying to cut out sweeteners. I take in a lot! But I just don't know if I can stomach my tea without it

I worked out with my mom and our trainer today. Mom is treating me to some extra sessions while I get back in shape. Lucky me! I did some cardio now off the buy groceries and back for a bit more cardio. My little one day binge has me ending February higher than I started! I have got to get back to 100% consistency. Sigh.

Have a great day everyone!

Karen - I still haven't learned either. I figured I was already 2 lbs ahead of my goal so I had a little extra room, so why not have the tasty meal Chris prepared for me? One. Meal..... Four. Pounds. Blargh.

BUT.... we're back on track today! Hooray OP! Hoping for a last-day-of-the-month-whoosh for you too sister!

I highly recommend renting a dress. Try the site renttherunway.com I used this site and rented a dress for a wedding and looked phenominal.

Y'all are going to hate me! Yesterday was 84* and sunny, today was 77* and sunny til some severe weather moved in! I took advantage and did plenty of walking (and some running) today and yesterday with the munchkin. Last night was nice enough to grill some eggplant, which I then topped with RF mozz and NSA spaghetti sauce. Good stuff... Who else is ready for spring to REALLY kick off here soon?
