Hi Southbeacher, nice to meet you and to the most friendly beach in the world.

If you want my humble opinion, if your going to do this, do it right. Work the program 100% and it will reward you. If you start slipping and sliding and adding a bit here and there, you will fail big time.

That being said, I look forward to getting to know you and wish you success.

southbeacher!

I have always measured my nuts and stayed within suggested limits. I'm like Heidi, I'll have an extra serving if I'm in an unusual situation but I don't make a habit of it.

I'm leaning pescaterian; eating fish/seafood (very) occasionally....yet I will be cleaning out my freezer for another year and I won't waste my ethically purchased meats. I have an occasional egg and do eat yogurt but not much other dairy. I have been making this transition over the past 6-8 months and feel great!

Best wishes!

Has anyone else seen the new (I think, at least...I saw them for the first time Friday night) Planters packs that have the South Beach stamp on them??? Apparently they're the recommended portion size for South Beach. Nifty!!!

You guys ROCK!

You are so inspiring and helpful..THANK YOU. And your advice about the nuts is so right on. What a great bunch of SBeachers this forum has!

Miss Koo, thank you for that spaghetti squash pie recipe. I can't wait to make it.
