Nervous about P2
 
I am crazy nervous about starting P2. I'm scared that if I have more rope (fruit, WW bread, etc.) I will hang myself....lol. I've done well on P1 with following the food restrictions. So proud that I did not indulge in the wine that was so much more attractive when i wasn't supposed to have it. I'm afraid when I'm "allowed" a little of the stuff that I had cut out, I'll over-indulge...Yikes. Any thoughts?;)

I have the same sort of fears going on. Done P1 for a month, mostly because I Like the results and I honestly do not feel like I am going without anything. I think that at the end of this week though, I am going to just do it. I have to just do a lot of things, exercise regularly and P2 HAHA.

You can try easing in to with a sort of phase 1.5 if that helps! For the first week, just add back one fruit a day, for the next week add a fruit plus a grain, etc. That's what I've been doing and it's been working well, no cravings or anything. It is tempting to stay on P1 forever but consider that your body does need the nutrients from whole grains and fruits at some point! :-)

ohhh, thanks erin! I think the weekly thing is much less daunting. And I am wanting an apple more than I ever have in my life. Perfect. Cold crisp apple.....wasnt a huge fan before but that sounds like the most delicious addition ever!

I just had the most delicious, cold, crisp apple I have ever had in my entire life! Who would have ever guessed that I would come to a time in my life where an apple was almost a religious experience...lol. While the idea of P2 scares me, I think doing the almost 1.5 for a week or two sounds perfect. I've been doing well sticking to allowed foods, although today I might've overindulged in spinach taco salad. Better than giving into the usual crap that catches my attention...lol. An apple...who knew.
