so hungry after working out
I have been working out for 30-45 minutes each day for the past several days. I have found that I feel like I could eat a house for the rest of the day after working out. I have been staying pretty well on plan, but I caved today and had another serving of nuts. I just feel empty. Will this even out eventually? Any suggestions for me? I felt fine all day until I worked out this afternoon.

mind posting a sample menu? you might not be getting enough daily calories.
30-45 minutes of exercise isn't enough to really burn more than 3-400 calories (and that is if you're working out REALLY intensely). try to keep whatever snack you have under 100 calories.
i get really snacky after working out too and try to have a meal within an hour of leaving the gym (usually lunch, but sometimes dinner). if I can't have a meal, I have half a banana with 1 tsp. of nut butter or half a lara or cliff bar. about 100 calories each. chase whatever you do eat with a big glass of water and you should be ok. your body is more than likely dehydrated more than actually hungry.

Don't see any dairy. I'd try that after your workout. You can have 2-3 servings per day. Greek yogurt or a skim milk latte is what I have mid-afternoon. Are you eating 2 servings of nuts per day? You're only allowed one per day. Make sure you're getting some healthy fats daily too. They really help with satiety and the good kinds of fat are associated with better cholesterol and decreased belly fat.

dairy and I are not such good friends... I can eat a little cheese and yogurt, but milk makes me sick. 2-3 cups a day would not be a good thing. I'll try adding a serving of yogurt though, now that I can have fruit with it.
thanks for the suggestions! Today was a better day, maybe just talking about the problem helped.

Her OP said that she caved today and had an extra serving. I don't think that's the norm for her. I think some more dairy and some more beans would be beneficial.

I did try yogurt with a little granola for breakfast yesterday, and had a wonderful day. I was surprised to find that I didn't get hungry at all until lunch. My workout went well and I felt good all day. Thanks for the suggestion!

How about some beans When I was working out regularly I would grab a spoon or two of ff refried beans out of the fridge(I still like to keep them on hand)...
Also, I don't know about you but for me(this could be TMI) the week before TOM comes I could eat a house even without the workouts! It may be just hormonal and something you gotta just push through... The middle of the month for me is always always always this way for me(sadly).
