Default I am on day 10 phase 1 and super hungry why?

Okay ladies so in 2006 when I did the southbeach diet i lost a lot of weigh but never worked out. This time i am working out 6 times a week. I don't remember ever being hungry that is what kept me on the diet. But this time around I am really hungry all the time. What I'am i doing wrong? or i am i just eating wrong? help please?

Are you eating lots of beans and having your full servings of dairy??? Lots of people swear by it to help keep them full and satisfied during Phase I.

1st goal - 10% of body weight lost - MET 06/21/10
2nd goal - 100 lbs lost
3rd goal - 180 lbs!!!

The more you exercise the more energy/calories you burn, you may not be eating enough to sustain your body with the amount of exercise you are currently doing.

Feel free to post a sample menu so that we could take a look, and see if there is anything in particular we can suggest.

you're hungry because you're working out all the time. i would try logging your calories for a bit and seeing how many you're getting. a good rule of thumb is that you need 10X your goal weight to lose (ie: my goal weight is 140, so I strive to eat 1400 cals. per day). when you're this hungry, your body is telling you it needs more fuel to keep its metabolism up. make sure you're eating enough to sustain yourself.

100 lbs. down plus a carrot for every 5 more
