Sophie, it's so nice to see you again! I'm glad you were able to have a nice long vacation, visiting your DD and spend time with your little grandson. Take care of that toe!
Debbie, I hope poor Rudi continues to do well. He sounds like a fighter and won't let this get him down.
Cyndi, you were really lucky to get to see so many whales on your whale watching trip. We took a whale-watching trip while we were in Maine, but didn't see nary a glimpse of one. We did see seals and puffins, though, so at least we got something out of the trip.

We ended up going to a pool party after hunt camp today, and from there went to another friend's pool. The first pool wasn't heated and I don't know how the kids could stand to get in, but it didn't seem to bother them.
The friend's pool was heated, and it felt good to sit on the side dangling my feet in the water. Later, I was able to drop the girls off with Cindy at polo and come home early. Woohoo!
