I am a newbie to the South Beach diet and this forum. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Also, can someone tell me if there is a way I can keep track of this forum on my phone? Is there a way I can track my post and posts I comment on? Help!

The best advice is to plan ahead... Im alright with meals, but if I don't have snacks easily at the ready, I am tempted to go off plan.... and on the first week is when the temptation is the greatest.

As for your other question, I have no idea, so I will leave that for other members of 3FC to answer.

Best of luck

I can't answer your phone question, either. I think what helped me most was my own personal commitment of 6 mos. OP with SBD. I had many ups and downs inbetween, but at 6 mos. felt great both inside and out. I would never have made it without posting here every day, so I always suggest that.

Best wishes!

Yes to what they said. I find posting my food IN ADVANCE in the morning on the on plan thread really helps me to stay focused. I pack the foods I will eat outside of my home and take them with me. I don't keep things that will tempt me at home. My biggest struggle is the weekends. Keep careful track of your triggers too. You will do great on SB!

When you say keep track on your phone, do you mean by text message? Or do you have e-mail on your phone or Internet/Web on your phone?
