Good Morning

We're socked in and it's drippy here, but at least it's not snow. I have the chores started and I'm going to try to get a serious hour in before the troops really start moving. I did get my bike ride in yesterday but I don't know what today will bring yet, other than church.

Tammie, I hope your house is cleaner than mine!

Jenn, I'm glad you're excited to be back in the groove. Knowing what you need to do is a huge part of it. Happy cooking!

Cyndi, hope you have fun today and that kitty is better!

Ruth, good luck to you and Jazz today!

Linda, I hope your Dad is feeling better today. Have fun BBQing!

Twynn, Thanks for checking in!

Karen, the art fair sounds fun. I like to go, too, but never buy anything!

I'll check in later...time to get organized!

Good Morning

Well yesterday we got dd's and ds's room done. We still need to steam clean ds's room. I straighted closet, dressers, and drawers. Today we will do our room. We will also do clean the livingroom/diningroom and steam clean it/ The kitchen needs some love too. It really needs to be mopped. I also have to finish up some homework today and start studying for finals which is in about two weeks.

Cyndi Hope the kitty is better.

Debbie Have a great day!!! Yuck with the mushy snow.

Karen Have fun today!

Ruth Sounds like a busy busy day! Hope you find some time to relax.

Cottage I love to go to Cracker barrel. My hubby doesn't care for it though. My kids love to go to because it is a store/resteraunt. lol

Have a great day everyone

Tammie

Good morning everyone,

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend sounds like it.

Yesterday was busy- did garage sale again and did much better and afterwards bundled up everything and donated what was left- clothes to local charity- some items for the senior bingo and the rest went to Goodwill. I think I brought back in the house a total of two items.

Then off to a distant town for the championship Soccer game which DD1 was in the tournament- took the wrong exit off the freeway and ended up taking 90 minutes to get there when it should have only took 45 minutes oops!!! They ended up taking 2nd place but it was against a school that much bigger and in different ranking and they played tough that's all that matters. DD got banged up a bit when a player kicked her the knee/shin area she has a nice shiner on her leg.

Debbie- it does make me sad to think about the oil spill....

Tammy- hope you get all the cleaning done- I have been doing in spurts.

Twynn- fingers crossed you can do 1.5 today it is tough when away from normal routine.

Jenny- Thanks for sharing, that is what I love about this site- it really motivates.

Okay need to go get ready for church so to everyone else.

morning, er, noon all. Cyn, hope kitty is ok!!! What happened?

So far so good on cooking. Made the Sausage Cheese cups for breakfast. Baked falafel in the new processor for lunch and taco bake and steak for dinenr (taco bake is for all week lol not two dinners).

Lots of dishes and laundry for me. Oh and I found out my in-laws are coming to stay with us for Memorial Day. In our 1200 sq. foot rented house. Thats 2 kids and 3 adults. Added to two adults and 3 cats.

Should make for an interesting weekend

Good afternoon It's hot and humid here. Guess it really is time to get the capris out. I hope they fit. The spring moment of truth is always a little intimidating but my ticker is telling the truth again so all should be well.

Thanks everyone for the kitty wishes He is doing well but then he seemed fine last night except for littler box issues. The vet checked him over and gave him some fluids and an antibiotic. It was the vet who always tells me my cat is fat , good thing Sebastian didn't know what he was saying.

I could use some cat advice from anyone with experience with more than one. Our two usually get along great, they are best buds. All of a sudden Luna is being really mean to Sebastian, chasing and hissing at him. We thought it was the vet smell but it's still going on today. We had to separate them last night and have sent her to time out in the front room just to give him a break. I'm trying to let it run its course but I don't want her chasing him from the litter box when he's not feeling well. Any ideas??

Hi! I'm new around here, just starting my second week of South Beach!! Sounds like this is a good place to be for support.

Cyn - no advice. We have three girls. Could it be a boy/girl issue? Are they spayed? Maybe seperate them for a while?

Two of ours are BFFs but once in a whilel they take things too far and hiss. The littlest and biggest (16 pounds!) don't get along. The eldest doesn't really like the middle cat either but tolerates her. Good luck!

Cyndi - it's pretty common for them to do that, even for a few days. I'd personally separate the sick one out for a few days, til the litter box thing calms down.

I had my feathers up a bit tonight....I was talking to the SIL, who is a cardiac ultrasonagrapher. She and the neice are going on WW tomorrow. I had mentioned south beach, and she just looked at me and told me what a poor diet it was. I asked her if she knew anything about, and....she didn't. She just thought people on it "looked bad". "what do you eat on it, anyway???". I tried to explain the lots of veggies, some fruit, whole grains, lean meat...Sigh. I knew you people here would understand!!!

We're leaving tomorrow morning to go back. I hate driving on I-95..but at least it's not vacation traffic. have a great night!
