Default Trader Joes

Thinking about doing a trip out to Trader Joes? Anyone else shop there? what are your fave SB friendly products?

Another questions? Thurs was my 14th day of phase1 so yesterday I had a sweet potato. I was reading on an interview with the author of SB who said if youu have a very high BMI, you can stay on phase 1 for a few? Did I really screw up or can I just start over on phase 1 today?

Many of us here shop at Trader Joe's, and if you do a search, Fluffy, you'll find several threads that discuss it.

After 2 weeks on Phase 1, eating a sweet potato is perfectly permissible for Phase 2. But if you decide to stay on Phase 1 a week or so longer, just pick up where you left off.

I love their brand of Greek yogurt, plain, nonfat. Also I eat TJ almond butter daily.

I love their ff cottage cheese. Its actally the only brand of cottage cheese I like... no sticky, gumminess like Knudsens.

Their broccoli slaw goes great mixed in crack slaw!

Just got back from TJ. We were running around doing errands and I got SO hungry but I am committed to staying on track so we stopped at Joe's. I got one of their chicken/goat cheese salads and bought a bottle of wasabi mayo to use as dressing (the salad came w/honey mustard - a no no!). I ended up buying quite a few SB friendly things and the prices were great:

Organic Blue Agave Nectar
TJ's wasabi mayo
TJ Jalapeno Sauce
Pistachios
Sliced Roast Beef (Peppered, no sugars)
Sliced Roasted Herbed Turkey Breast (no sugar, honey, HFCS)
Some yummy LF cheeses

Of course I had to stop at the gas station next door to buy some ice to keep my mayo & stuff cold until we got home!

Nuts, fresh salsa, guacamole, eggs, EVOO, natural peanut butter,
I like that they have a no hassle money back guarantee. If you don't like it bring it back. I was told that's how they judge if they want to keep stocking an item, if they get too many returns they stop stocking it and bring in something new.

They have the best chicken lime burgers anywhere. They're frozen and you just fry them up. Have them with lettuce and lowfat cheese...avocado....pickle....they're really good. I can only find them at TJs. We tried every meat under the sun during that first phase.

Chicken lime burgers - #1 phase 1 pick from me for TJs.

I've not seen the chicken lime burgers. They sound good. I'll have to ask for them at my local TJ's.
