Hello! I just joined this forum tonight, and I am happy to have found you all! I am a recent South Beach convert, and so far, so good! I am really enjoying all of the food and the sheer variety of foods allowed on Phase 1. I hope to learn a lot from all of you! Thanks for having me!

Hi Chelby! And I was so looking forward to a cabana boy, too! ;)

I lost my weight using the Carbohydrate Addict's Diet. I recently started SBD because I reached what I believe is a MAJOR plateau -- I originally got down to 193 pounds, but have gained back some pounds since fall. I'd like to start the losing process again, but I may have reached the mysterious set point!? At any rate, I made the leap to the beach, and I am really enjoying it! There is such a nice variety of foods, and I find that I am full when I eat, which is a nice feeing!

In the short time I've been here, I'm really enjoying reading the posts -- so much to learn and I love it! You can never have too much knowledge, right?
