Default Do not feel like eating...

So I'm on day 11 in Phase 1.

I don't wanna eat.. it's so wierd! Now, granted Aunt Flo will be here this week. But dinner last night was a chore to eat (I made myself eat.. and it's one of my favorites.. beef with green beans) . Tuesday my stomach was a bit off. I think the lamb with chickpeas was WAY too spicy and set it of. I generally have a pretty solid stomach. but blerg.

Breakfast this morning.. I didn't eat it... I know.. I know.. I need to eat.. but I'm not enthused.. I even tossed out part of my salad yesterday (lunch).. not a lot but I never not finish food.

I'm hungry.. it's not like I'm not hungry.. I just don't FEEL like eating.

This sucks.. does anyone have any suggestions? Am I obsessing too much and tossed myself into an eating disorder?

Could be a small virus, stress, who knows. Give it a couple of days and do try to make sure you eat something every 3 hours or so and get your protein in.

Yes! I feel the exact same way! Yesterday I had to force myself to eat 2 eggs and a small breakfast. No dinner or real lunch. Just no desire to eat.

I was thinking the same, maybe a virus....

I'm been on a modified P1 since Sunday morning. I, too, have absolutely no appetite, however I am eating what I'm supposed to. It's just so unusual after so many years of always feeling famished, to feel content without food.

Hmmm.... someone ought to toss us both in a paper bag and shake us up. I'm wanting to eat everything that's not nailed down today....
For me emotions/stuff going on in my world often makes me want to eat more - or not bother to eat at all.

Hope you feel better soon.

Lexxiss!- Thank you. I am going to push myself to eat it all today. i jsut couldn't yesterday.

Heidi- I laughed out loud at that!

KicknKnit- I don't think it is an eating disorder. I think that sometimes our body and our minds are not always in sync together for what ever reason. Could be a bug, maybe something you ate or stress but it could be anything. I am going to push to eat at least all of my veggies. I am sure that is will work it self out and you will want to eat again!

I certainly hope so! I enjoy food, generally. maybe it's becuase I"m eating so OFTEN... I feel like I'm always eating because I don't necessarily get "breaks" at the office.. so it may take me 1/2 an hour to eat a snack.. (Like now). It's becoming a chore.

well, whatever it was.. it seems to have passed... I had a tiny dinner last night (bean soup- around 8:30)

This morning I was over the blahs.. tried turkey bacon.. it didn't suck. Already had my morning snack and am looking forward to lunch!
