Hello ladies,
I've sort of been lurking for a while. I actually found this forum the last time I was on SBD, but never did take the time to set up an account. Since I am MUCH more focused on reaching my weight/health goals this time around, I figured I better get myself signed up to take advantage of all the support I see in here.
The last time I was on SBD was about a year ago. I wanted to lose weight before going on a family cruise to the Western Caribbean. I lost over 20 lbs in about 6 weeks, figured I'd have a hayday on cruise food, then get back to business when we got back. Well, the hayday part went fabulously, but not so good on the getting back to business part...oops.
So, here I am, heavier than ever before (when I started on Jan. 1), and more determined than ever before to make this change, once and for all!! This time around I have a good friend that's doing it with me, which has been extrememly helpful. She and I e-mail back and forth almost everyday! I've been keeping a food journal to help spot problem areas/good things/etc.
I'm happy to be here and look forward to sharing my journey with all of you!!
