Default No more loss again today...

I have been so excited...almost every day I have been doing phase one, I would get up and see about 1/2 to 1 lb less on the scale. Now, for the past 3 days, nothing! It hasn't gone down at all! I am so depressed. I am following the diet plan....and it is so fristrating.

You shouldn't be weighing every day. Your body can fluctuate daily from water and such. How many days have you done phase 1. Also post a menu so the ladies here can look at it and see if it is ok.

Don't get frustrated!

Remember to drink water, lots and lots of it. What is an example menu for you for today and let's see if we can see anything that might be "stalling" you...

I see you posted your menu one minute after I posted. Ha ha!

Where are your proteins? Beans? What's your water intake? Could it be other bloated/body issues? Have you been using salt lately?

I thought the eggs were the protein? I have been drinking about 2 pints of water per day. I have used a little salt..but the recipes I found were telling me to.

I think you should input your food into fitday or something similar- looks to me like your calories are so low that maybe working against you. I would definitely add some beans in there somewhere...

And- you have lost 8lbs- thats a lot of weight in less than two weeks, you can't get depressed or disappointed by that?! The weight won't continue at the rate it does when you first start- mostly because of the water weight we lose in the beginning. I suggest that if the scale not moving bothers you- you probably ought not to weigh-in so much. once a week is plenty- try to judge your progress by how you feel, the cravings you are having, and how your clothes fit as well...

Someone (wish I could remember who???) said to me during Phase 1 when I thought I had stalled to "step away from the scale" and I have done that!!!! I lost about 6 pounds in Phase 1 and have lost another 1.4 pounds during the first week of Phase 2. Try to focus on how you are feeling. I feel so much better and my clothes fit better already (wish I had measured myself.) I have gone to weighing weekly and that works much better for me!

Thank you everyone for your comments. I guess I should "just step away from the scale"...and I am going food shopping later today..so I will look at getting some beans in there as well. I know I should be happy for the 8 pounds..and I am. I ahve to just be patient, and go with it. My clothes are a little looser so that is a positive!

I agree with Rikki. This seems to happen to almost all of us. Quick loss followed by nothing as our body catches up to the water. Don't worry

On your menu veggies look good, maybe too much cheese, no dairy, nuts or beans, no protein with dinner. Most of us had our weightloss slow down after the first couple weeks. It's normal. Keep up the good work and keep us posted.
