Kara, I'm already heading to the grocery store. I'd love to come over-stuff is always more fun at someone else's house!
Pearlrose, luckily we stopped the problem in the process. I have a bissel mini carpet cleaner, and I just dream of a nice carpet. This one is very old and there's no point in upgrading. Have fun at the movies!

Feral, congrats on your scale movement! Keep rocking on! We, too, are always hit or miss on the snow.

KimStar, hope you get out of work early!

Lisa, nice pic!

Heidi, glad you got to peek in from work. Hopefully a last school day for you. When is your DD coming?

Off to chores!

That wine looks tempting, Cyndi! I'm sure I'm better off not knowing how it tastes.

Kara, I love your ornament idea! I bet the kids and their parents will cherish them in the years to come.

L.C., you may end up with some snow from this snowstorm, too. I think it's going right up the eastern border. Have fun assembling your goodie bags!

Debbie, were you able to get much accomplished while you were so busy in Denver yesterday? I hope today is a calmer day for you!

Heidi, you are very welcome to start up the daily thread any time! And don't worry about coming up with a clever title. I have a heck of a time trying to think of a catchy title that early in the morning. Most of my titles are reruns, lol. Keep bundled up in that cold weather!

Silly, enjoy your partying!

Lisa, nice picture!

I'm all set now for the snowy weekend and Christmas! I did my grocery shopping first before the store got crowded, then got the rest of my shopping done. I'm taking a lunchbreak right now before I get busy baking a batch of peanutbutter blossoms that was a Special Request. I'm actually excited about the snow, even though I know a lot of people were counting on getting a lot done this weekend.

Well I just got home. My stomach isn't happy with sugary foods nor is it happy with dairy. I actually didn't eat as much as junk as I was expecting to be there. I had a small piece of cake and a tiny piece of cheese cake...tummy hurt after that. Other than that I had some chicken tenders and some tortelini salad. It was delicious. I HAVE to get the recipe for that. Ok ladies. take care.talk to ya later.

Thanks for the kind thought; today was much calmer! Yesterday we found a great Nepalese restaurant; as to things on my list-a few got done, all were a pain!
