Just a quick check in since I haven't been around in near 2 weeks.

the not so good things:

completely off plan - had to eat thanksgiving left overs for 5 days just in order to eat at all. Finances are not just tight, they're almost non-existent.

still no full-time job and the part-time temp Law Office position has ended.

The GOOD:

I have 2 interviews .. one in a couple hours and one this afternoon. The first is a holiday season cash position that's a few hours a week, the second is a full time temp with possibility of going permanent.

I got my tree up and its soooo purdy!

No matter the issue, I just take it one step at a time and work it out. Things do tend to work out... no use freaking out about them.

I hope you lovely beachers can stay on plan and enjoy your holidays with friends and family. After all... religious/spiritual or not... the center of the season, truly is love and thankfulness.

I'll be around...

Just got home. I kept thinking it was going to snow but now I see blue sky. I'm going to do some cooking this afternoon but wanted to stop and say hi.

Pearlrose, sending prayers your way...what an awful day you had! Hope your DS is feeling OK-it must be very hard for him.

Heidi, for your post-funeral day.

Cyndi, I think you can put one on your bike-mine was $25. I ride alot further than I thought; pool and back with a short detour was 6.6 m. Enjoy the veggies-wish we had a winter market here.

Hi Cottage, hope your day swishes by fast!

Kara, thanks for setting such a great example for the rest of us. Personally, I think cleaning counts as exercise.

Karyn, it's quite a success figuring out WHY you're eating and then STOPPING! Pat yourself on the back and move on.

Chelby, love the decorations! Funny about the laptop. Hey I was just looking through a catalog and found the gift for the guy who has everything; it's called "Mangroomer" and is an electric back hair shaver. ..I still think its good to let Cabana Boy help out.

Schmoodle, just wish you would get to feeling better!

Lisa, have a great Date Night!

LChick, best to start your changes early! I waited until May 09...too bad...but it's history for sure!

Beachgal, always great to see you on the daily! Dontcha' just love buying ahead then losing it!! I've done that before. Soup sounded good-I had some turkey/veggie for lunch.

Gothik, thanks for checking in! You are cared about here. on your interviews. Glad your tree makes you happy!

KO, go home! (ha ha) See you later!

Ok, off to the kitchen. I'm going to try Kalyn's no knead WW bread, and test a batch of Agave Nectar almond brittle. Both are new to me so I'm interested in the results.

Hey, everyone! I've been in boss-man's office all morning doing employee evaluations. Phew. Now I'm ready to go home and work out. I need to run all this stress away! Well, at least they're written up. The hardest part, presenting them to the employees is Friday.

Okay! Off to finish up for the day! I hope everyone is wonderful!!

Today was a total crapstorm from the minute I got into work to the minute I left
the highlight I got a tooth filled today
The real highlight I didn't stress eat
I need to learn to BS more or play golf. My new boss seems nice but we have no common ground to talk so meetings are really awkward
I tried to work out tonight but was too stiff and sore
so tomorrow is a new day!
