it not only puts a brake on the cravings, but starts to change your metabolism, and your taste buds. Becoming healthy is a process. Starting with phase 1 is part of the process. You can do anything for two weeks.
I'd suggest reading the book, look at the meal plans, both in the book and the real life examples on the On Plan thread here, choose 3 or 4 meals you can rotate, and dive into the first week. Eat from allowed foods until you are full. Read these boards to see how others are handling things. Try new recipes. Walk. Think healthy thoughts. Ask questions. Take the advice of the many veterans here who are happy, healthy, and very generous in sharing their wisdom.
