Updated South Beach?
I have the 2003 copy write version of the SB Book, and I read somewhere that updates have been made, (e.g. carrotts are no longer a no-no in Phase 1). Is that true? If so, does anyone know if soymilk is now OK in Phase 1? I will really, really have a problem not having soymilk (although I believe there is a no-sugar version of Silk).
Any thoughts/ideas? Thanks, Leslie :broc: |
Hi Leslie:sunny:
My 2008 book lists soymilk under dairy; "lowfat plain, vanilla, or artificially sweetened(4 g or less fat per 8 oz) and to be sure that the product does not contain high fructose corn syrup." :welcome3: Debbie R |
From the SB FAQ's:
Low-fat plain, vanilla, or artificially sweetened soy milk (4 grams of fat or less per 8 ounce serving). Be sure the product does not contain high fructose corn syrup. Read the FAQ's here if you want the food updates. |
Sweet!! (no pun intended) I'll check that! Didn't see that in the FAQ~
Thank you! |
