Default South Beach Book

Hi there

It was recommended that I buy the SB Book. Just curious before I purchase it what type of read is it? Also, I notice there is a SB Super Charged book. Is that the newest/latest version.

Easy Read?

Too much mumbo jumbo?

Are recipes included?

Does it clearly and simply lay out what you can and can't eat? Or do I have to try to decipher it within the text of the book?

Is the book usually available at Target? Walmart? Barnes and Noble? Or is it a special order book.

Thanks a bunch!

, bunny43!

The South Beach Diet book is available anywhere books are sold, and it's a very easy read. Both interesting and entertaining. The South Beach Supercharged book is a newer version of the original book, but there are a few changes and additions in the food lists and it suggests an exercise plan with exercises for each phase, which you may find helpful.
We strongly recommend that you read the book (either one) before starting this plan so that you will understand the fundamentals. It clearly explains the foods you should be eating as well as the foods you should avoid, and why. Both books have some recipes for each phase, as well as some menu examples. We also have a super recipe section in our forum with yummy recipes for each phase.

I hope I have answered your questions, and good luck!

You sound like a commercial...wherever books are sold! hee hee

Yes, you did answer all my questions, thanks so much. I am headed to Barnes and Noble tomorrow to purchase it. I see the newer version is being released tomorrow.

Thanks for your help!

Thanks for your reply, I went to Barnes & Noble this morning and bought the paperback of South Beach Diet Supercharged! Can't wait to begin reading it.

For those who are also looking for the book, there's no reason you can't just check it out of your local library. If you find that you like the recipes enough to want your own copy, you can order one.
