Default Looking for a good sb tofu recipe

I was looking in the vegetarian recipe thread, but it seems like all the tofu recipes are not at all sb friendly. anyone have good tofu recipes to share? I prefer to use firm or extra firm tofu (and that's what I have in the fridge!) Everytime I think about doing what i usually do which is slice and pan fry, i feel a little turned off by it. don't know why my taste has changed, guess i'm just looking for something new. maybe a good stir fry? anything interesting and/or easy would be greatly appreciated. thanks chicks!

I'm heading out in a few but found these two we tried and liked:
P1 (or P2) Kale and Cauliflower Bake
Tofu Cacciatore (Phase 1)

Here's another thread:
Tons of Tofu

I'm sure Rikki will have more ideas when she wakes up. I'll try to post more when I get home tonight.

One of my favorite ways to cook tofu is to pat it good and dry, spray it with olive oil and sprinkle with garlic powder, and bake it until it's turning golden brown. Then serve it with SF BBQ sauce.
Another yummy recipe is to slice it and dip it in beaten egg, dredge it in WW panko, give it a spritzing of olive oil spray, and bake it at 350* for 30 minutes, turning halfway through.

Hi Baristamom! I know for me when I think of tofu- I think stir fry, but there are many other ways to use it as well! One way I haven't had in a long time but used to really like is making tofu parmesan! Even my dh who doesn't "LOVE" tofu like I do really likes it... if you drain and slice lenthwise into , um, kinda like fillets... anywho- pat each of those dry with a papertowl and put into a nonstick skillet with some cooking spray... cook some of the moisture out of them and then flip and do the same thing to the other side... when they start to brown a bit lightly sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese flip to brown the parm and do the same with the other side... this makes for a nice crust! then top with your favorite sf sauce and maybe some rf mozzarella!

Even if I don't bread my tofu this is how I slice to cook it so I can get it pretty firm. another good trick is freezing it before you use it- most people like the texture better this way- I don't, but many do... you can substitute it almost any recipe for protien...
