TWYNNE, I'm so sorry you had a rough day.
Sadly, you were probably doing the poor pet a favor and putting them out of their misery. My friend, Cindy, is a veterinarian, and some days she when she gets home she puts her head down on her desk and cries her heart out for what she had to do that day. It's heartbreaking, but try to focus on all the good that you do, too.
