Just newly pregnant, I took a test on Sunday that came up positive. I went into the OB for a test to confirm and it was + right away. So I am literally just pregnant! I honestly think losing just the relatively small amount of weight I did and eating better already made that big of difference to make this possible. I <3 SBD!

I'm with Jessie - I had a hard time with meat - especially red meat. I was better with chicken, but it had to be in something...and shredded was best. FOr the first few months, I lived on yogurt and fruit smoothies and raw veggies. Now that I'm done puking all the time, I'm a lot better about meat and can eat a lot more balanced meals.

My sweet tooth definitely isn't what it once was. We made a german chocolate cake for my dad's birthday and I was the only one who couldn't finish my slice...it was just too much sweetness! I don't know if it was SBD or what, but a piece of fruit is always at the top of my list of things to crave.

Mazel Tov (congratulations in yiddish)

you can for sure eat full phase 2 but make sure to take all you are allowed and to discuss vitamins with the doctor and also what you are eating.

Congratulations! I think this is the first time I can remember that we have had three pregnant beachers at one time! There is nothing wrong with phase 2 as everyone has said. Just concentrate on eating healthy.

LOL @ Zeff, I was just the opposite. I could eat red meat but not chicken or fish. Even thinking about chicken was enough to send me running to the bathroom. How strange is that? Am fine now, back to normal, which is good because I have high cholesterol and eating only red meat was a little frightening to me.
