I use some dried fruit, esp in the oatmeal breakfast bars, and on salads sometimes, but I have stayed clear of raisins, for some reason they scare me. Maybe I read somewhere that they had a high GI, but I have heard them called sugar bombs and that stuck with me. Usually I use dried unsweetened cherries or apricots.
