HMA Congrats on the NSV!!!!!!

Lisa I'm glad you finally were able to sleep the night through! I bet it felt good! NOw that the ordeal is over it wont take any time at all to lose the weight you put on with all those carbs. A few strict days, lots of water and you'll be good to go!

Indi! Have a peaceful rest!

Barb enjoy a peaceful weekend!

Thanks Pearl!! I agree, even though I am not working it's been a long week. Perhaps it's all the running around, car repair etc.

Hi Jelly, Thrift shopping is always fun, but be careful not to spend money on frivolous things you really don't need! Easy to do!

Hey Lynn, Big toss up of staying home in a quiet house, or going to Alaska! I think I'd go to Alaska!

Thanks for dropping in little chick! Hope things get better for you!

Now I've heard everything Belle! A doggie birthday party? what will they think of next??? Getting together for doggie socialization isn't a bad idea, but come on, a party for a mutt?!!!!!! Yes, I love my girl and she's spoiled, but she's still a dog and knows not what all the fuss of a party is about. Give her a birthday bone and she's died and gone to heaven!

Me: Now that I've spent several weeks home and facing work Monday (strong possibility) I'm gonna get that room done once and for all!!!!! Today my son is here to do some yard work, and tomorrow my friend comes to take the couch, and I have to go grocery shopping today. relax? ha!

My friend insisted to pay money for the couch, I told her NO! I only paid 30 for the set at a yard sale last year. This thing is so comfortable! So to ease her mind I asked if her husband can fix my toilet while he's here, so I have to spend some of the money I have on the insides of the toilet. I did that just to help them not feel funny on taking the couch.

Hey everyone. Sorry to neglect you all, especially after writing a novel in the reading thread, but I've got to get my day started!!!

Laundry, shopping, packing, weeding and housecleaning on the agenda today. Leave for Austin tomorrow in the am. Sigh. This year is going by too fast....

Good morning all! I've been up since the crack of dawn, actually before, with the little one. She woke up and was ready to play. So I've been laying on the couch, folding laundry, being lazy all morning. I plan to finish dealing with Mt. Laundry at some point this afternoon and we have a pool party for dinner, getting nervous about eating. Hopefully I can just eat in advance and avoid it all.
Have a good day everyone!

Well, the party theme is more for the owner than the dog, of course! It's a local toy dog club, and we get together once a month to socialize our tiny dogs in safety. While we're there, we celebrate birthdays for the month. It's really just a good way to keep our dogs healthy and happy, and fun for the owners to swap ideas and suggestions, and to watch the little dogs romp and play!

Yeah, I've just been miserable, and you all know how I am with emotional eating, especially if there's no time to go to the store. I think I had mashed potatoes 4 times in the last week, plus biscuits, real (restaurant) cheese tortellini in an alfredo sauce, brown sugar rolls, chinese food with white rice, Taco Bell, and Papa John's pizza (on original crust) and their parmesan breadsticks (original bread.)

Oy. Sorry about the food porn but I kind of wanted to convey why I'm feeling so sick. Gonna get stuff at the store to make Rachael Ray's Black Bean Stoup and the Kraft Italian Spinach Pie (two things Ph1 that Tommy will help me eat.)

Tommy says hi by the way.

Think I'm going to try roasting some chickpeas as well. Haven't done it yet, and am a bit nervous about it, but it's worth a shot. Hey, do I need to store them in the fridge once I make them, or would a tupperware container on the counter work? And how long do they stay good?

So it's going to be a major detox the next few days, possibly a week. I'm going to try to be good. I got down to 121 with the stress and all, and now Lord knows where I'm at (I'm afraid of the scale.)

Think I'm going to start doing pilates in the mornings too. I always felt better when I did pilates. I just feel like a roly-poly now. Well, back to my grocery list. Talk soon.

Weezle, try Jillian Michaels 30 Day Shred, I know I got majorly sore when I exercised to it twice so far since I got it. Good DVD for those who don't have exercise equipment or who don't like to exercise in public aka "ME" lol

I pay close to $50 for mine.... just another reminder for the chicks with the small ta-ta's - you're so lucky. One day when I'm rich, I'm going to have mine reduced and hiked-up.

I'll have to check out her DVD. I'm sure it'll kill me....

Ya I know, my family always tells me I need mine reduced, lol.. but they make you lose the weight you wanna lose anyway before reducing boob size so really what's the point if they are gonna shrink anyway, except for those who don't lose boob size when they lose weight.. then it qualifies.

Unfortunately I'm one of those that doesn't lose much boob. Back when I was 105 lbs in high school, I was a D-cup. Got up to 40DD (probably should've worn bigger, too, but wouldn't admit it.....) at my heaviest and now am back down to 34D. Not huge in the grande scheme of things, but it takes a toll on my back and there's major saggage from gaining and losing weight. Thus, the expensive bras.

Good luck with your boob-loss!

Nessa, ugh. They'll go down with more loss! At least some.....

I'm a 40DD, prob bigger, but I've been using minimizer bra's so I can have at least an inch of shrinkage to my chest, lol

I remember one time I got down to 162lbs and I was like a 40D, still not small enough for me tho, I wish I could be in the B cup like my mother, she's lucky.

I'm still wearing nursing bras and I haven't been breastfeeding since December! If I lose a little weight I'll have several that fit for a while since I seem to have the ones that are too small in great abundance!

I have a curvations bra 40D that I have to wait to wear, but I go through bra's like crazy cause my boobs aren't even so it drives me nuts, with or without bra's.. I'd rather have no boobs, least it wouldn't drive me nuts anymore.

Hello Chicks of many words You've been busy this morning!

I've been crazy busy getting ready for the first leg of the time off. Tomorrow I'm off to my parents in the land the internet forgot. I've been trying to get things done here and make sure I have what I need to get through three days there. Unfortunately I ended up bringing a couple of work projects home too - just couldn't get it all done yesterday. Oh well, just small things and it's better than having them hanging over my head.

Today I discovered chestnuts. I can't find them on the food list but they have a glycemic load of 4 so I think they're safe. Ocean State had bags for $2. Yum

Loriann -

Heather - I love my collar bones! I didn't even know I had them until recently (okay, I assumed they were there somewhere but I didn't know what they looked like!).

Ruth - Hope Hershey starts doing better. I hate when my babies are sick

Cottage - do you have parties every weekend?!

Indigal - How did the potluck go? Think it will catch on?

I'm staying out of the bra discussion. Except to add that it costs more to keep them in place then it did when they were bigger and stayed put.

everyone. Have a great weekend!
