I'm not going to be any help here with the recipe, but can you use flax on Ph1?
Anyway, one option would be to skip the crust, and make it as a frittata.

well usually I do crustless but I want to make sure I can bond with the throne room
I was thinking of making almost like a Graham cracker crust but with Flax LF parm and some smart balance?

you can use flax but the serving size is so small..

What about using parmesan cheese mixed with the smart balance? That would make a nice crispy brown coating and would be delicious.

I usually get 8-10 pieces from quiche so I figured I'd just do the crust accordingly

I don't know if this is acceptable for P1, but I've used almond meal or almond flour as a crust.

ladybugnessa 07-10-2008 12:28 PM

well technically (if i'm being a food ****) NO NUT FLOURS or LEGUME flours allowed in phase 1... NO FLOURS allowed...

why not make a frittata instead of a quiche?

True almond flour should only be 100% highly ground almonds till it takes on a flour consistancy though.....nothing else added except almonds......that should be okay right???

well i think nut flours are ok.. but no legume flours no chickpea flour in other words.

grinding stuff makes it easier to digest and raises the GI of it.
