Is it worth it?

I was looking around and saw the South Beach Diet Website, but it is 5 dollars a week. I was wondering if any of you used it and if it was worth it? It says it has a free tiral, but you still have to pay a minimum of a month. Thanks!

Most of us agree that we have everything we need here and in the book.

I agree...I joined the official website when I first started SBD, but ended up cancelling my membership, because---just as Ruth said---between the book and 3FC, I had no need for the info on the official website. Save your money!! :)

I joined for the first free week! Printed off a ton of recipies and then found this website and never looked back, no need to pay you get everything you need here.

It's your money

I get updates from the Official SBD Website for free whenever they feel like sending them, which is often. I never joined. I copy the recipes although I hate to admit I really haven't tried many of the SBD recipes. I have just bought a lot of the allowed foods and go from there.

If you want to try it, go ahead. I have a tendency to sign up for everything whenever I start something new but it gets to be so hard to juggle everything so I remind myself to K.I.S.S. (keep it simple sweetie).

Whatever helps you get to where you want to go is what is best for you.;)

I have the free e-mails of the "Daily Dish" but I heard from a friend that the site isn't really worth it. I'm going to stick to my SBD Cookbooks and this site for support!

Thanks Ladies.

I will not waste my money. Thanks so much for letting me know. I did not realize there were cookbooks; that is something that I will have to check into as well!

I'd check out the cookbooks from the library first and see if you like the recipes. I'm a HUGE fan of them, but FH is a little bored with their lack of spices.

I'm so glad this thread is here! I officially started SB on Thursday and got an e-mail saying I could get a 2 week trial to the official site if I ordered a couple of additional SB books I was planning on getting anyway ... and I've been debating ever since whether or not to cancel. Now I'll make sure I write down their customer service number so I can call in the morning!
