MarathonMom- you and I are in the same place. I want to lose a few lbs before I go off to China to run the Great Wall marathon. I'm doing ok on day 4 , but a bit constipated and grumpy. Drank a bunch of water and we will see what tomorrow brings.

Kathy, I have a friend who is also doing the Great Wall Marathon. He is a tall older guy and has run every continent so far except Asia. He does the L.A. Marathon every year. Maybe you'll meet him. For his age, I think he is doing great, and I admire you guys for doing that. No way could I even run a block, let alone a marathon. Go for it and I wish you the best.
