I got this book out the other day, on the lookout for recipes (which incidentally they also have) and was struck by the similarity. It's basically SBD with butter and cream allowed (as far as I can tell)
It's written quite well, with a lot of emphasis on sorting out the emotional issues, but as a diet I'm not sure it can't just be called an alternative mel plan for SBD.
There are several diets out there that are similar to SBD, but we are looking for foods that have a low glycemic rating, and only eat healthy, good carbs and fats. Butter and cream definitely don't fit into our guidelines, so you'd have to make substitutions if you want to try any of the recipes that call for it.
