I'm confused about this. In Phase 1 and Phase 2, is sour cream allowed? If so, how much reduced-fat sour cream is allowed per day? (Phase 1 & 2) I've searched the internet and seem to get varying answers. The book is no help at all.
If allowed, in which category does it count? Milk? Fat?
I am not totally sure on the amount myself....but I do know LF sour cream is okay for phase 1 & phase 2. I think it would count towards the dairy. I know another beacher with more experience will be able to answer what the recommended serving would be.
as far as i know LF/RF sour cream is good for all phases..recommended serving 1 tblsp according to the good fats/good crbs guide...hafta admit i use it a bit more indiscriminately and it hasn't had any negative effect
