Is it really safe to take a teaspoon 3 times a day?

sure.

i take tablespoons of the stuff when i'm in need.... just make sure to drink enough water with it, before it and after it as well.

You can also get a sugar-free version of Metamucil, too.

I get the sugar free orange version in the huge tub from COSTCO... it's the house brand actually!

I get the sugarfree from Target in their store brand in the orange. Or in the Metamucil brand they have a sugarfree berry one. In phase 1 I used it three times a day. I don't need it that often in phase 2.

Walmart has a sugar free orange one that I use occasionally.
