Default Menu Planning: Week of 2/25 - 3/2

I know this is a different title for the menu thread, but I really need to start planning for more than one day at a time. I thought I was doing fine just planning my meals the night before, but I fell out of the habit when things got hectic at work. To remedy the situation, I'm going to plan for the whole week instead of just the next day. Here are my dinner plans for the week (as that is the meal I need to plan for the most!):
  • Monday: ham steak and steamed broccoli and cauliflower
  • Tuesday: turkey burgers and salad
  • Wednesday: spaghetti squash and pasta sauce w/ground turkey breast
  • Thursday: orange chicken and broccoli
  • Friday: probably will eat out--protein and vegetable
  • Saturday: broccoli, chicken, and cheese soup
  • Sunday: baked chicken breast w/bbq sauce, avocado, and Swiss cheese, mashed cauliflower

Hi chicks!
Jill, I usually plan for a week in advance also. I shop weekly, so that just makes it easier to be sure I'm prepared, and I can plan easy meals for busy nights. However, this week, since I lost most of my weekend to travel, I'm not so well prepared! so here's today:

B - 2 fried eggs, 1 piece Ezekiel Bread toast, V8
S - cheese stick
L - Lentil and vegetable stew
S - latte, celery with LCLC
D - lean ground beef patty, veggies from the freezer
S - banana pudding

B-1 slice ezekial toast w/TJ's garlic mustard, cheese & 1 boiled egg

L-leftover chicken breast w/spaghetti squash & soycutash
mixed fruit
S-SBD cereal bar
D-1 egg, small piece pork loin, 1/4 cup cottage cheese, broccoli, 1/4 cup beans, 1 slice ezekial toast

weird day for me, no time at work for any snacks, dinner was bits and pieces that DH put together, all tasty, but a lot of bites of this and that

We have kidney this week. I hope I can fix it good. Other than that the usual salmon, haddock, I have marinated herring this week instead of the usual canned kippers. The sodium is better its a local produce too. Has anyone fixed kidney before?

Spirit, I'm pretty sure kidney is a food to be avoided on SBD. I may be wrong, but usually organ meats are pretty high in fat and are a no-no.
