Our second weigh in, a trip to Trader Joe's, and moving in to Phase 2!!
 

Hey everyone!
My brother and I have successfully completed Phase 1, and have moved into Phase 2. Our second weigh in showed a loss of 10 total pounds for me and 13 total pounds for him!!

Since we have moved into the next Phase, we decided to take a trip to Trader Joe's for some whole wheat breads and such. We came across some sourdough bread that has cheese incorporated, and has 7 grams of protein per slice! And very delicious! We also got some whole wheat homemade tortillas, and something similar to triscuits to eat with our Laughing Cow cheese.

Awesome Pheebs! I am just transitioning onto Ph 2 as well and just a tip: be careful you don't add to many things in all at once. I believe we're supposed to add in one new thing a week.

I did the same thing and went out and bought yogurts, triscuits, cereal, etc. and then when I got home realized IT'S GOING TO TAKE ME A WHILE TO EAT ALL THIS! =)

Congratulations Phoebe! Don't ya love TJ's? I prefer their ww tortillas to the mission brand by far, but they were out last time I went. :( I usually don't get down there more than once a month, because it's about 30 miles away.

Thanks everyone!! Yes Trader Joe's ROCKS!! I wish they had more of them around, ours is about 30 miles away too. Almost to Seattle LOL. But it's wayyy worth it.

I am so glad my brother and I are in this together, otherwise I'm sure we would have both fallen off the wagon without each other and peaced out to jack in the box for a cheesburger LOLOL. We have improvised and one of our new favorites are turkey mushroom melts, which involves a turkey burger, a slice of fat free cheese and olive oil sauteed mushrooms and onions, and you layer it all on a huge piece of lettuce and enjoy!!
