Default Is this the right tomato sauce?

Hello chicas!

I hae some ground chicken I need to use up today, so I'd like to make meatballs! I went on a search this AM for some No Sugar Added Tomato Sauce. I found Hunt's No Suger Added (The only had this in an Italian Style Sauce). What do you think?

I am not on SB - but I used to use that one all the time. My son didn't like chunky sauces - it's pretty tasty for a thin sauce.

I keep this brand on hand. My favorite is from Trader Joe's, but the Hunts is one I can pick up at the grocery store. It is a little thin, but good if you're using it in a lasagne or casserole type of dish.

Diddo on the hunts. They don't seem to add any sugar to most of their tomato products. I use hunts all the time.

That sounds wonderful actually. Do you mind if I ask you where you purchased that one? There have been a few stores I've looked around for that in and haven't found it yet.

When I don't have time to make my own (which is pretty often lately), I've been using Emeril's Gaalic sauce, 3 sugars, but no sugar is added I guess since none is listed in the ingredients

In "no sugad added" tomato sauces, the sugar in the nutritional info is fructose from the tomatoes so it's just fine.
