i'm currently on LA Weightloss and we can have everything except must be careful of the prepared foods because of sodium, and water weight, also; everything in moderation.

South Beach is not the same as LA Weightloss and there are many restrictions in prepared food.

Tomato soup and Progresso Lentil canned soupsare both allowed in Phase I. You can make the tomato with skim milk for extra nutrition. SF Puddings are not allowed (cornstarch) but sf Jello is fine. Chicken and broccoli would be fine if you make it yourself; Chinese sauces are loaded with salt, cornstarch and MSG.

Check out The Revised Food List in the FAQ Section for the allowed Phase I Foods. There are also lots of great recipes in the Phase I Recipe Sections.

Well crap! I have 2 cups left of my SF Mochaccino Jello Pudding that I thought was on plan. I looked at the ingredient list and didn't register "foodstarch" as being the same as cornstarch. Kraft Foods is getting sneaky on me. These are really good, I should have known it was too good to be true.

The pudding is fine in phase 2 but you need to hold off during phase 1.
