May I suggest that you make your first mini goal a little bit smaller? The gaps between sizes when you get past 16 are much bigger than the smaller sizes. Where you can lose 10 pounds and drop a size in the smaller sizes, it sometimes took me 20-40 pounds to drop a size in the 20s. It might happen super-fast, but maybe you can make your first goal to get to size 20?
That way you won't feel sad if it takes a long time...but you'll be pleasantly surprised if you make it to 18 before you expected!
