Chicken soup
Good for colds!
2 chicken legs
2 stalks of celery
1/2 small onion
1 cup broccoli
1 cup cauliflower
1/2 green pepper
salt and pepper to taste
2 beaten eggs (optional)
Boil chicken legs in dutch oven. Remove chicken after cooked and set aside to cool. Strain leftover broth. Cut chicken up into small pieces and add back into the broth. Boil and then add remainig ingredients. Salt and pepper to taste. To make egg drop soup, add beaten eggs slowly off the end of a fork into the boiling soup. Boil for 1 minute.
I usually keep a pot of this on the stove when I feel a cold coming on. Happy eating!
