well I lost my bulk on South Beach which follows some similar principles. I do find the food and recipes waaaaay better over here although I haven't lost more than 5 or so lbs so I guess I'm in maintenance although not trying to be...

I lost 7 pounds in wave 1, but have gained it back, lost 5 of it, gained it back again, and now am down 4 from my original weight, but all to my not staying on it correctly. I agree with batmomm, the recipes are better over here but I do find the two similar in a lot of ways. You have to be willing to change your lifestyle and that is what gets in my way of not loosing and continuing to loose. : (
I'm on Weight Watchers, but my husband is doing the Sonoma diet and I'm enjoying the recipes and fresh vegetables. He lost 12 pounds in wave 1 (he was being very strict and wasn't eating the extra snacks for men), and 3 pounds in the first week of wave 2.
I'm on day 7 of Wave 1 and I've lost about 3 kilograms (which coverts I believe into roughly 6 pounds. Now I'm sure a bit of that is "water weight" which we all lose at the start of any diet, but also, some of it *has* to be chewing into the ol' fat stores.
I've got to admit, I'm finding the detox on sugar a little rough. Just before I woke up this morning I was dreaming of eating chocolate cake! (And I'm telling you, it was so good, it was almost one of "those" dreams!!! ) But I haven't given in to the craving yet.
