Just read about this on the home page. I had been thinking about the mediterrian way of eating but read every where there was not enough information about different things. This looks like it will be more help. My husband and I, both, need to lose about 20 or so pounds but need to do the exercise with it.

We live in the middle part of the USA THE LAND OF OZ. My biggest problem is lunch time working in a school. Smell that food is good but then when you see the food forget it most days.

Hi, welcome to 3FC! I agree, the Mediterranean diet has always looked like the smart way to go, but it wasn't really a structured plan for weight loss. It's just a healthy way to live.

School lunches aren't what they used to be, lol. I remember how good they were when I was growing up. I started elementary school in the late 60s, and I can still smell the vegetable soup! Everything was good, but the lunch ladies cooked it from scratch back then.

What Suzanne? No Campbell's Vegtable soup back then? LOL That is what my mom cooked for lunch and I can still smell and taste that! As a child of the 70s... instant food was coming fast and hard!
