Default Sonoma for Men

Hi,

My husband and I are going to do Sonoma together and I'm wondering if you have any insights into how to adjust the calories for a 6'4", 275 lb man. I saw that men can have more substantial snacks in Wave 1, but that's about it. Any ideas?

I would give him a bit more protein and an extra grain serving. After wave 1, maybe an extra fruit serving too.

Thanks! I'll do that. The last thing that I want is a hungry, whiny husband!

My husband is 6'5" and 290, he's just eating extra veggies, and will take a more substantial snack, but other than that, he is on the same portions as me. I didn't think it was going to work, he spends 10 hours a day painting, I thought he would get hungrier, but he says he isn't.

After a while he will probably feel satisfied. When my husband first started he about drove me crazy. All night long he would ask me "what can I eat". But now he is fine. He has lost 13 pounds since the 10's and I have lost 6.

When he was really hungry I would have him get a whole wheat PB sandwich (single). He loves PB so that helped. A couple of times in the beginning we both had 2.

I have started to exercise too so hopefully I will catch up soon, haha.

Good luck! Gina
