Ladies, jsut a quick comment about how this forum can be dead at times. Its totally normal. Since this diet works , liek REALLY works, and that there is never A LOT of people doing it (most people stick to the other plans like WW when for me just didnt work), the forums die at times when the people reached their goal or dont need support anymore. I dont know anyone from thsi forum that seriously did this diet and wasnt successful. I have been keeping the weight off for 1-1/2 year now.

Hi Zofia! Really good to hear how well the diet worked for you - that's really encouraging for those of us who still have a little way to go. Do you use the Maintainers forums now? How do you like them?

Ping - can you say a bit more about what kind of recipes you like, e.g. are you looking for quick dishes or do you like to cook, do you prefer one-pot dishes or meat-and-two-veg, do you like soups and salads, are there any foods you don't eat? I cook quite a lot, so if you tell me some of your likes and dislikes I will see what I can find from my collection and maybe post them in the Sonoma recipe forum.

Hi all...skipped a week posting, was way too busy. This wk.I have more time. I've made alot of changes in my eating habits..two day ago I stopped drinking coffee in the morning..I did ok,better than I thought. My goal is to get my 'get up and go' from my foods, and lifestyle and not via the caffine stimulant. I'm still eating veggies with every meal, even breakfast..yesterday I had left over green beans from dinner the night before with my egg...my feeling is focus on the health, and nutrition and not having a food party with every thing I eat. Lost a couple, slow going, but going. I started weight lifting in addition to my usual walk, and am feeling better about myself..sort of a 'i'm in control'mind set. Takecare chickies...we are the caretakers of ourselves too. choices

Good for you for your choice of NOT drinking coffee.

I haven't started this program yet as we are in the middle of moving, but I am inspired by ALL of you.

Take care,
Marcie

hi Ping!

Pilgrim:
Thank you I do not use any of the forums as I started my own business months ago and simply doenst have time to go but I find Sonoma is just carved in my mind and I have no problem maintaining whatsoever.

I know when I over eat and when I dont eat sonoma style, I dont even weight myself (well not true I started now cause I want to go to 195) and I jsut adjust my days so I always float beween 5 pounds. (right now id like to be between 193 to 197)
The only reason why I gain 5-6 pounds is becuase of christmas and I jsut never tried to loose it. LOL

It works, you just have to be patient. Right now I have a little bit to loose and I started yesterday following wave 2 of sonoma so hopefully next week im 2 pounds lighter
