Yesterday I saw 130 and instead of being motivated, I went on a binge--I am so disappointed. I have done this before and was wondering if anyone else has and if you could offer some advice?

Hello!
Jesus, worst hangover of possibly my whole life today. Remember last week I was saying how it's tradition to take the day off work and spend all day getting hammered, but there was no way I was doing that? Well, that's exactly what I did end up doing. Booked the day off and went out to celebrate. Twelve hours drinking guinness, and beer. And all I had eaten was a greek salad for lunch beforehand. Was a brilliant day. Being Irish and used to it, usually I can handle a hangover, but not today. I couldn't even keep water down. Thankfully I've come out the other side of it alive. On a good note, I'm in the Maltese news today!!
http://www.timesofmalta.com/articles...erry-and-drink For a few seconds in the last 10 seconds, on the right LOL
So here's yesterday's and today's abysmal admissions -
Yesterday
Greek salad
10,000 pints of guinness
Today
Garden salad and wholemeal roll
chocolate wafer
Terrible! Back on the wagon from tomorrow.
Hope all are well
Sarah

Ping,
My advice - Just pick yourself up, dust yourself off, and start again. You have only failed if you give up. Hugs to you and keep coming back!

Thanks CCC!! Love the hat
This morning I was back down to 131. I think I just need to get really serious about this--for many years if I wanted to drop 10 I just did it but I guess age makes it harder. At least on this diet I am not gaining and am still eating great plus it is so nice to have you all to talk with!
b oatmeal,skim milk
l salad
d chicken something from my new cookbook

I didn't fall off the face of the earth-just some busy days.
Didn't eat a whole lot today
B: sugar free latte
S: banana
S: left over rotisserie chicken
D: grilled moroccan pork kabob with brown rice, carrots, glass of white wine
Probably some strawberries and mascarpone later

No loss this week.. INCREASE this week ! I'm not beating myself up though, (anymore, I was raging inside when I got off the scales this morning) TOM is coming and I even look bloated and water retentiony. Also not forgetting the massive alcohol blowout on Wednesday, and every action has a reaction so it's not like it wasn't going to do some damage. Onwards and downwards as they say
B: Bowl fruit and fibre, low fat yoghurt
L: Broccoli soup and ww toast with light cheese spread
D: Smoked salmon salad, bowl of sugar free jelly
S: Apple, Pear
Exercise - Hour walking.
Hoping to get back to the Wii next week when my left foot is less painful.

Not my best eating day but no disasters either. I've taken to making my own bread in a bread machine and had a few slices of some nice warm whole grain bread fresh out of the machine today.
B: whole wheat buttermilk pancakes, sugar free latte
L: 2 eggs, bacon, slice of whole wheat buttermilk bread
S: couple slices of whole wheat buttermilk bread (is their a theme here?)
D: strawberries and mascarpone cheese
Believe it or not, this really wasn't that bad a day nutritionally-around 1700 calories, 21 grams of fiber and 72 grams of protein.
About an hour of assorted Wii activities.
