Default question about med food

Hi every one,i am searching and reading about this lifestyle and i have a question.Can i eat white sticky rice in Mediterranean diet?thanks

White rice is not considered a "whole grain" and the MED diet stresses whole grains. You might try and find a short grained brown rice which you can cook up sticky style

I also think it matters how much rice you eat. Do you eat a half-cup at a time, or three cups at a time? How often do you eat it? I think it's entirely possible to eat white rice occasionally and still lose weight.

Or you can simply buy brown sticky rice. thats what I use when I make sushi.
