Default Brief Intro

Hey, all! I'm a 31 year old female. Married with one child (7). I'm a former sprinter and Olympic weightlifter. I retired about a year ago, and have since changed composition drastically. I'm still active, training and competing in 5K, 10K, tris, etc...and still lift weights regularly.

I didn't really choose the med/sonoma diet, so much as that's how I usually eat. It occured to me that I really don't need to be this big anymore, since I no longer compete, and I would like to drop to 160 pounds (currently 5'9" and 175). I have lost enough muscle mass that this would put me at about 18% bf by hydro, if I didn't sacrifice too much more muscle along the way.

I'm just trying to learn how to be normal. It used to be strict eating, training 4 times a day, massage therapy, ART, ice this, heat that....I am enjoying NORMALCY. I'm very disciplined with diet and training, and really came here for the recipes! You all have some wonderful suggestions. I hope I can pay you back with a good find some time.
